Pedro Noel da Luz Guerreiro, nascido em 1976 em Portimão, Portugal, é um fotografo que atualmente reside em Lagos.
Foi foto-jornalista e repórter de imagem no grupo Cofina (actualmente Medialivre) durante 10 anos.
O seu interesse pela fotografia foi influenciado por Bernardino Correia familiar seu que possuía um estúdio de fotografia em conjunto com o seu sócio Márinho em Lagos nas décadas de 70/80.
Desde jovem, Pedro começou a explorar a fotografia, utilizando uma câmara analógica para capturar suas primeiras imagens a preto e branco.
Ao longo de sua carreira, já participou em diversas exposições quer individuais quer coletivas a nível nacional e internacional, tendo também recebendo vários prémios pelo seu trabalho ao longo dos anos destacando se um prémio "Mérit" da FEP (Federação Europeia de Fotógrafos Profissionais) na edição 2022 do "Federation of European Photographers (FEP) Awards" na categoria de Reportagem/Foto-jornalismo.
Destacam-se também a a sua participação no evento "See Me Take Over" em Times Square em Nova Iorque nos Estados Unidos em 2014 e no "Fifth Annual Exposure Award" no Museu do Louvre em Paris em França em 2015.
Mais recentemente participou na VI Feira Transfronteiriça de Arte Contemporânea em Castro Marim que reuniu artistas de Espanha e Portugal.
É formado em Técnicas Fotográficas pela CENJOR (Centro Protocolar de Formação Profissional para Jornalistas).

 

Pedro Noel da Luz Guerreiro, born in 1976 in Portimão, Portugal, is a photographer who currently lives in Lagos.

He was a photojournalist and image reporter in the Cofina group(currently Medialivre) for 10 years.

His interest in photography was influenced by his family member of Bernardino Correia who owned a photography studio together with his partner Márinho in Lagos in the 70s/80s. 

From a young age, Pedro began to explore photography, using an analogue camera to capture his first black and white images.

Throughout his career, he has participated in several exhibitions, both individual and collective, nationally and internationally, and has also received several awards for his work over the years, highlighting a "Mérit" award from the FEP (European Federation of Photographers Professionals) in the 2022 edition of the "Federation of European Photographers (FEP) Awards" in the Reportage/Photojournalism category. 

Also noteworthy are his participation in the "See Me Take Over" event in Times Square in New York in the United States in 2014 and the "Fifth Annual Exposure Award" at the Louvre Museum in Paris in France in 2015. 

More recently he participated in the VI Cross-Border Contemporary Art Fair in Castro Marim, which brought together artists from Spain and Portugal.

He has a degree in Photographic Techniques from CENJOR (Professional Training Protocol Centre for Journalists).

Marim - Exposição de Fotografia / Photographic Exhibition

 

Marim É um fotógrafo algarvio residente em lagos mas com origens em Castro Marim, vila que inspirou sua alcunha. Realizou a série "As cores secretas do Algarve” dedicada às paisagens do Algarve sob
um ponto de vista aéreo e não só. Uma tal perspectiva permite explorar cores, formas e texturas invulgares, escondidas e ou inacessíveis. De um ponto de vista mais alto, Marim consegue
revelar as nuances de um Algarve graficamente denso, complexo, quase orgânico no qual riachos, bancos de areia e rochas parecem, juntos, constituir um corpo ou um ser vivo: que devemos cuidar.
Todas as fotografias foram realizadas com as devidas autorizações. Nas no fly zone, foi aplicado métodos e pontos de vistas alternativos (de falesias, pontes, cessna, ultraleve, etc...)

 

Marim is an Algarvian photographer living in lagos but with origins in Castro Marim, the town that inpired him his nickname. He made the series "The hidden colours of Algarve" dedicated to the landscapes of the Algarve from an aerial point of view. Such a perspective allows to explore unusual colours, shapes and textures, hidden and or inaccessible. From a higher point of view, Marim manages to reveal the nuances of a
graphically dense, complex, almost organic Algarve in which streams, sandbanks and rocks seem, together, to constitute a living body: which we must take care.
All photographs were taken with the necessary permissions. In the no fly zone, alternative methods and views (also from the cliffs, cessna, ultralight, bridges, hills, kite etc...)

 

Maria Adelaide Cintra Filipe - Exposição de Ceramic/ Ceramic Exhibition

Com uma profunda fascinação pela Arte na Pré-História, a artista explora as mais variadas técnicas, criando livremente, sem obedecer a regras rígidas. Desenvolveu um estilo próprio, sem se preocupar com o resultado final, permitindo que cada obra transmita simplicidade, pureza e ingenuidade. Inspira-se em histórias, mitos e formas.

Em 1960, nasceu em Lagos, tendo iniciado a sua incursão pela Arte da Cerâmica em 1974.

Desde 2016 até à presente data, mantém ativo o seu atelier (Arte 100 Limites) situado na quinta do Vale das Pedras nas Portelas, como ceramista ou em atividades diversas , como pintura, escultura em cerâmica, madeira, pedra e ferro.

De 1978 até aos dias de hoje, tem participado em várias exposições quer individuais quer coletivas.

Em 2022 obteve com a sua obra de Arte intitulado  O Silêncio  2º Prémio da 1ª Edição do projeto de Arte Contemporânea de artistas de Lagos, organizado pela Câmara Municipal de Lagos

Em 2024 Participou na segunda edição Do Local Arte tendo obtido o 1º Prémio com a Obra A Fuga.

 

EXPOSIÇÃO
Adelaide Filipe desafia os limites do risco ao combinar ferro e barro – dois materiais em estados distintos: um inerte, o outro vivo.

Através do ferro que recolhe ao longo do tempo, cria associações improváveis com o barro, ousando dar-lhe novas formas, que refletem o seu fascínio por histórias vindas de tempos remotos.

As suas peças reúnem autenticidade e singularidade. Assumem o caráter orgânico que a terra lhes confere e integram formas únicas encontradas pelo acaso.

With a deep fascination for Prehistoric Art, the artist explores a wide range of techniques, creating freely without adhering to strict rules. She has developed her own unique style, unconcerned with the final outcome, allowing each of her works to embody simplicity, purity, and innocence. Her inspiration comes from stories, myths, and forms.

In 1960, she was born in Lagos and began her journey into the art of ceramics in 1974.

Since 2016, she has maintained her active studio (Arte 100 Limites), located in Quinta do Vale das Pedras, Portelas, where she works as a ceramicist and explores various artistic disciplines, including painting, ceramic sculpture, wood, stone, and iron.

From 1978 to the present day, she has participated in numerous exhibitions, both individually and collectively.

In 2022, her artwork O Silêncio (The Silence) was awarded 2nd Prize in the 1st Edition of the Contemporary Art Project for artists from Lagos, organized by the Lagos City Council.

In 2024, she took part in the second edition of Do Local Arte and won 1st Prize with her piece A Fuga (The Escape).

 

EXHIBITION
Adelaide Filipe pushes the boundaries of artistic expression by combining iron and clay—two materials in different states: one inert, the other alive.

Through iron collected over time, she creates unexpected associations with clay, daring to shape new forms that reveal her fascination with ancient stories.

Her pieces embody both authenticity and uniqueness. They take on the organic character bestowed by the earth, uniting singular forms discovered by chance.
