A nossa Associação
TEIAS Artísticas é um coletivo de diversos empreendedores criativos que há já alguns anos têm vindo a transformar as suas ideias em objetos, a recolher inspiração e materiais do seu Algarve, e a produzir de forma sustentável com as próprias mãos.
Após anos a criar, a expor em mercados, a organizar eventos em conjunto, a trocar ideias e a compartilhar camaradagem e motivação entre si, estes artistas formam agora uma associação com um espaço de exposição e loja na parte antiga cidade de Lagos.
Quem visitar TEIAS poderá descobrir o trabalho de cada atelier, aprender mais sobre os seus diferentes processos criativos, conhecer qual deles estiver responsável pelo espaço nesse dia, e encontrar peças únicas para levar consigo. TEIAS, no futuro, será ainda um espaço onde se poderá participar em diversas oficinas artesanais.
Our Association
TEIAS Artísticas is a collaboration of independent local makers who have been for years turning their ideas into objects, searching in the culture and in the landscape of Algarve for inspiration and materials, and creating with their hands in a sustainable way.
After years of making, selling in markets, organizing events together and exchanging skills and motivation with each other, they now formally join as an association with a shared space in the old town of Lagos.
Visitors at TEIAS will always be greeted by one of the makers tending the space. While there, they can explore the work of each maker, learn about the different artistic processes, and find unique objects to take home. In the future, TEIAS will be hosting a diverse collection of artisanal workshops.
